International cotton prices, as represented by the Cotlook A Index, have been somewhat volatile over the past two months, owing in large part to the shifting trade policies of the United States. The Cotlook A Index moved within a 445-point range, reaching a high of 79.40 on February 19 and a low of 74.95 on March 5, eventually ending the period just 30 points lower overall.
